Joining us from 11 to 20 October at HERE in Nowra is Ayurvedic postpartum doula and bodywork therapist Ash. Ash is a mother, Ayurvedic postpartum doula and Ayurvedic bodywork therapist. Her work is deeply intuitive, connecting with the subtle energies of those she works with and allowing the divine to move through her, creating an experience of deep rest, nurturing and connection.

While living what felt like many lives within this one through food, horticulture, and self enquiry, Ayurveda was quietly weaving itself throughout her life for years, and eventually became the path she chose to follow, devoting herself as a lifelong student.

Ash has studied Ayurvedic medicine, postpartum care and traditional bodywork modalities with several teachers in Western Australia, including Hindi Belle Sutras and Karin Günthör of Lakshmi Ayurveda. Her relationship with Ayurveda continues to deepen through ongoing study, practice and, perhaps most importantly, the way she chooses to live.

At the heart of Ash’s work is a reverence for the deeply restorative power of nourishing touch, ritual, care and our innate connection to nature. Her devotion to supporting women and mothers is both professional and deeply personal, and she brings warmth, intuition and presence to her treatments and care.
