rounding is an extension of your meditation practice, including accessible yoga poses and simple breathwork. rounding is for every body. no experience needed!
If you've already learnt Vedic Meditation and would like to build on your regular, twice daily practice, then Rounding may be the perfect thing for you.
Rounding is a deeply restorative sequence that combines gentle yoga postures (asana), light breathwork (pranayama) and our regular, Vedic meditation. It is designed to prepare the body and mind for a deeper, more effortless meditation experience and can increase the rest achieved for both the body and mind during meditation.
A round begins with a specially designed set of asana that help the body de-excite in preparation for meditation. These movements are light, easy and enjoyable, suitable for all levels, with no experience necessary and modifications available for all poses. This is followed by simple, light breathwork through the nostrils, then your regular, seated meditation, and the sequence ends with an extended lie down to integrate process.
In this workshop you will learn the full sequence and understand how to integrate rounding into your personal practice. Once you learn it, you will also be able to join our monthly group rounds.
We begin with 60 minutes of instruction and Q&A, then we will complete a full round together as a group so you can experience the effect first-hand.
You will also receive take-home information sheets so you can round confidently at home.
