the wisdom of laughter with issy

  • Nowra Showground Committee Room Scenic Dr Nowra, NSW, 2541 Australia (map)

Laughter might be one of the most spiritual things we do.

Laughter might be one of the most spiritual things we do. It is one of the most innate and elevated human experiences, a universal language that allows us to connect beyond words and is a natural expression of the bliss that lives within us.

There is something profoundly healing in making our own stories funny.

In this talk, Isabel explores comedy and laughter as powerful tools for healing and transformation. What feels like drama in one moment, with time and perspective, can become something we laugh about. In this way, comedy becomes a mechanism for processing and transforming our experiences.

Drawing from her background teaching Vedic Meditation and volunteering as a hospital clown, Isabel shares how the principles of comedy are deeply aligned with Vedic wisdom.

Just like meditation, comedy invites us to step back, observe, and engage with life from a more expanded state of awareness. It reminds us that even in the midst of challenge, there is space for lightness, connection, and joy.
