5 day creative industry retreat

October 18–22, 2026
Bamarang Bush Retreat

There’s a reason why
so many of the world’s most inspiring artists practice meditation.

what’s the secret shared
by artists like jamie jones, kendrick lamar, fisher, rick rubin, j. cole and carlita?

the word ‘inspire’ comes from the latin inspirare, meanIng to breathe into.
the term comes from the idea that the divine source of all creative intelligence breathes inspiration
into us.

as creatives, we need time and space to refill this inner well from which
all profound
creativity emerges.

we fill the
well with
experiences of
space and stillness,
mystery and magic,
nature and knowingness.

By quieting the mind, we become more available to notice and collect these special experiences in order to draw from them later.

“Deepening our connection to nature will serve our spirit, and what serves our spirit invariably serves our artistic output.”

—RICK RUBIN, THE CREATIVE ACT

the stress of day-to-day demands blocks our awareness of the oceanic source of universal wisdom underneath the
surface-level ephemera
of everyday life.

Through meditation, we practice de-exciting the 🧠 and release stress, clearing our connection
to the source of
creative intelligence
and ultimately evolving
the way we 👀 the world.

“Through meditation, we acquire our connection to an inner power source that has the ability to transform our outer world. Meditation gives us not only the light of insight but also the power for expansive change.”

—JULIA CAMERON, THE ARTISTS’ WAY

When life becomes all doing and no Being, we lose contact with that stillness; the source of our creativity. We allow our happiness and sense of self to be created from the outside-in instead of from the inside-out.

We allow our creative choices to be determined by what people around us might think.

Did we sell out the tour, top the charts, go viral, or make it big?

We let life design us instead of the other way around.

we allow ourselves to be defined
by our surroundings.

there’s a second kind of happiness.

It’s called baseline happiness—it’s the way we feel inside, irrespective of the world around us.

Vedic Meditation is a simple mental technique shown to sustainably increase happiness from within.

By providing a profound level of rest 2-5x deeper than sleep, we release deeply held stress and clear the channel for creativity from its source within us.

Rounding is an industrial strength form of meditation incorporating yoga asanas and breath work, done in succession to achieve an unparalleled state of deep rest, dig out months of deeply held stresses and accelerate the stabilization of of baseline happiness.

“Stillness is where creativity is found. The extent to which you are creative in your life depends on how much access you have in yourself to the space of awareness. Without that, thinking cannot be inspired. The inspiration comes from the realm that is deeper than thought.”

meet your chef: zoe

Zoe is a Vedic meditator, Ayurvedic practitioner & therapist and postpartum doula who is skilled at letting the vibrancy and aliveness of real food shine through her medicinal dishes. She is passionate about making Ayurvedic food accessible and practical for the modern human, taking it beyond what is eaten on retreat and inspiring its principles to live in the cuisines we already know and love. Her cooking style moves fluidly between the aromatic world of Middle Eastern food, the simplicity of Japan, the flavour of the Mediterannean and, of course, the colourful worlds of India and Sri Lanka.
